So yesterday was an awesome day! First I got to be a part of the San Diego Interfaith 9/11 Memorial and Concert! It was amazing! There were so many people of so many faiths all gathered together in one purpose, as one, to celebrate our country and how we've come together since September 11th. We sang a beautiful song, "Heal Our Land," by Janice Kapp Perry. My favorite performance was the last one! It was two men of the Baha'i religion, one on guitar, who sang two songs. I don't remember what the first one was, but it had to do with being one and it was a call and answer song so it got the audience participating, and then they sang a song, "I think you're wonderful." It was one of those moments where you just feel like there is hope for our world. At the end everyone sang "Let There Be Peace On Earth" and I could just feel God's love for each one of us, it was an amazing experience!

I'm in there somewhere on stage! haha

Then we went to the hospital with my parents to visit our close friends, the Millers, who just had their first baby boy! He is the handsomest baby boy I've ever seen! And the closest we can get to having a nephew, so maybe I'm a little biased;) Made Michael and I really want one of our own! Yikes! Baby Fever! I got to hold him first and he's just so precious! When it came time for somebody else to hold him, I really didn't want to give him up! haha But I'm hoping to have many opportunities in the future!!! Here's some pictures of Michael holding him (we didn't bring the camera out until I had already reluctantly given him up), and then a picture of me with his mommy who is one of my closest friends!

We are so blessed to have the friends and family that we do!
